With your private wine expert, stop to two wine shops where will learn the history behind each wine you taste as well as tips on how to pair them with different dishes.

What to expect
Authentic Wine Tasting Experience:
Meet your private wine expert under the Statue of Walther v. der Vogelweide and start your 1.5 tour of Bolzano with focus on its wine traditon and history as a wine town, that goes back before the Roman times. Learn about the indigenous grapes, Lagrein and Santa Maddalena, which vinyards are grown around the city and extend until the historical center.
You private wine expert with explain the different wine varieties and techniques that makes each South Tyrolean wine different and guide you through two different wine tastings. You will have the chance to taste two Italian wines and two South Tyrolean wines with local snacks.
At the end of your tasting, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your favorite wines, then you can continue the night in the heart of central Bolzano, close to bars, restaurants and sights
Historical and Cultural Experience:
Learn about history and tradition of Bolzano as a wine town, the cradle of the Lagrein and Santa Maddalena indigenous grapes. Walking around the historical center your wine expert will tell you stories related to the wine trade and how monasteries played and important role in the wine growing tradition.

If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
