BOLZANO - GATEWAY TO THE DOLOMITES
Bolzano is the best starting location to discover, explore and get lost in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. A unique landscape of remarkable geology, serene forests and impenetrable limestone pinnacles
WHERE IS IT?
You have been countless times to Italy and yet you have never heard about this
town. Don’t worry we understand! Bolzano and South Tyrol have been traditionally
a popular destination for Italians and German speaking tourists as well as North
Europeans. So you can say we kept it for ourselves, but we realized that such a
beautiful town and region has to be shared with the whole world and no longer
has to be kept a secret.

Bolzano is the capital city of South Tyrol (Alto Adige or Suedtirol), a bilingual region located north-east of Italy, about 172 miles form Milan, 75 miles from Verona, 86 miles from Venice and 62 miles from Innsbruck, Austria. It borders with Austria to the north and east, with Switzerland to the west and to the south with the nearby region Trentino.

Distances are not big whether you arrive by private transfer, car or train and if your staying in Verona or Innsbruck you could consider Bolzano as a day excursion.
