What to expect
Authentic Wine & Food Tasting Experience:

Meet your driver and your guide at your accommodation in Bolzano and begin your full day tour to the South Tyrol Wine Road, a truly paradise for the wine lovers!
We reach first the village of Termeno-Tramin, the birthplace of the native grape of Gewuerztraminer! Enjoy a walking tour that will end at the Wine Museum where you will learn about this ancient grape and tasting 3 different varieties. We will continue towards Caldaro Lake where we will have lunch (not included) in a traditional restaurant. Following lunch we will discover the other important wine village of Caldaro, where we will stop at a famous and historical wine producer where you will have a guided tour of its vineyards followed by a wine tasting in a panoramic terrace overlooking the vines.
*Please note that depending on the availability of the wineries, the itinenerary may be reversed.

Historical and Cultural Experience:
​
There are 16 wine villages located along the South Tyrol Wine Road, each of them with their own charm and modern flair. Your English-speaking guide will illustrare the area and point out the most interesting sights along the way. You will enjoy a walking tour in the village of Termeno, where you will admire its ancient buildings with arched stone doors and colorful façades and have a look at its bell tower, the highest of Alto Adige. Discover Caldaro and its beatiful historical buildings built in the "Oltradige art style", a style combined by Renaissance and Gothic elements, unique in its genre.

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
